Sorry it has been awhile since I have written.:( The last couple of weeks have been fun at Quarterlife. We have begun our study of James. It was cool last night as the lesson from the One Month To Live study was on learning from our trials and test in life. As I watched the video and heard the testimony about the man from Australia who was born without arms and legs, I was convicted to how much I have taken for granted the things God has given me and have been angry at what God has taken me in the past. It is often easy to ask God “WHY?” but really what we should be asking Him is “HOW?”. How are you going to use this situation or struggle to make me better and stronger in our faith. Or better yet, God allow me to see through your eyes and know that you are in supreme control. Let me encourage you today in the fact that God knows where you are at in life and has a PERFECT plan for you. Let all that you face be a tool to make you all the God wants you to be and never lose faith in your God. Cuz He loves you!!!
Striving with You,
P Greg
Last night we started the One Month To Live Series and it was AWESOME. If you haven’t been copming on Wednesday nights, this would be an Amazing time to start. Basically we are looking and thinking about the question ” What if you had month month to live, what would or wouldn’t you do?”. It is a very thought provoking question. Death is a fact that we all will face someday. When you die, what would you like people to remember you for. It is how we live our lives that matters. I challenge all of you to think about your life and what it is you are living for. God loves you and wants you to experience that very love in close personal way. When we knkow God’s love then we can share it with others. Know and share God’s love today.
Sue and I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are living in a society that lives life in the gray. In Revelations, God speaks about the church that is neither hot nor cold. It would be better for us to be hot or cold then to live in the gray area of life. Does mean we have to be perfect? No! But does mean that when we say we are Christian then are actions should line up with our words. Too many times it is just the opposite, we say one thing and live another. The world needs us to be REAL! Real in action and in deed. God forgive me if I in anyway have been live in the gray. It is my desire to emulate Christ. I want to encourage everyone to live life in a manner that the world will step back and say “WOW, he or she is different.”
Sue and I love all of you!!
Could it be that I am blogging? That is for those of you who keep me on my toes. And I thank you for that.
But seriously, have you ever wondered: could it be God that lets all the things happen around us that hurt so bad. That is the question I have been asking God and He continues to tell me that ALL things work for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). God’s word doesn’t say some things but in ALL things. It is easy to trust and thank God when things are going smooth but not so easy when things are bumpy and life is throwing us curves balls. I was encouraged this morning when I remembered this verse in Romans and began to thank God for everything that is going on.
I would like to encourage everyone today to say YES it could be that God is allowing things to happen but I thank God because there is a Blessing coming my way soon.
Sue and I LOVE all of you.
Have you ever had dry cracked skin or lips? Know what it is like to need chapstick, carmex or vasoline so bad that you have to make an emergency trip to Wal-mart? Well, I have and the longer I wait to get some the more it takes to heal and repair the damage done from the dryness. Sometimes in my spritual walk it seems to be like that skin, in that, it gets dry and cracked.
I have found that if I begin to feel this way all I have to do is open up God’s word, pray or just crank up some worship music. As always God’s word seems to always be timely, He always knows what I need before I ask and usually has the answer ready. When we are going through these season or valleys, it is good to remember that we are not going through them along. God is there and waiting for us to say ” I need you now”. And when we do He comes to meet the need and heal what causes the dryness.
Whether you find the answer in His word, through pray or just opening your heart during worship, BY ALL MEANS CRY OUT TO HIM!! He Cares!
Everyone seems to get it. Few people seem to want it. So why does it exist? Someone somewhere out there actually buys things that are advertised in drive by emails. They actually click the link next to some really m1s5pelled words and then type in their credit card information. Because this person might be you, QuarterLife now offers updates by email.
If you really want to see Greg’s musings, ponder over his questionable choices in spelling, or just keep up with the cool pictures that should arrive any day now then give us your email. It’s painless. You just type a few characters on that keyboard and create a “prior business relationship” that will let us send out that delightful ham based product with no guilt. It’s so easy and besides everyone else is doing it, so now you have to. Just type it in right here. You know you want to.
Update: Hint, you have to click the link in the verification email to prove that it’s really you!
Can you believe that we got a blizzard? Can you believe that it probably wasn’t the last one? Can you believe all the flooding in North Dakota? Can you believe that school is almost out for summer? Can you BELIEVE?
I have been doing a lot of thinking about faith lately and how much faith it takes to accomplish what God wants us to. In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said that faith the size of a mustard seed could move a mountain. It takes faith to walk and work out our belief in Jesus but if we can just have a little bit of it we too can move mountains. Each of us have mountains or challenges in our lives that we are facing and are looking for ways to make it through. Whether they are financial, relationships, health or spiritual, we need these mountains moved. I think that Jesus’ words in that verse apply to us today and the mountains we face. Believe in the one that gave us life and know that He cares about our everyday and the things we face. Just believe in Him, pray that He will move the mountain and watch what he does. You will be amazed! My question for you is CAN YOU BELIEVE?

Hey everyone…WOW what a night last Sunday night. Thanks everyone for your questions and input. It is fun to get feedback from you all as we search the scriptures looking for answers to the questions of life. It is amazing that God has a Gift for each of us. My question to you is: Are you looking for and seeking the Gift God has for you through the Holy Spirit? If not, why not? I am looking forward to next week as we look in depth at Speaking in Tongues and The Interpretation. I look forward to seeing everyone there. Remember it all starts at 6:00!!! Come get Coffee from the World Cafe’ and get ready for a great time of worship and learning together.
